If so, iVision can help with an Application Consolidation initiative. We’ve seen many situations where a common application framework and user interface can greatly improve an organization’s efficiency and lead to happier users.
Our approach is to build that common framework, usually as a web portal application, and to systemically migrate the existing applications into the new common framework. We’ll keep any working applications and simply incorporate them into the common framework, and we’ll create any new applications or replatform them to another framework if necessary.
The focus will be on reducing the number of different application environments and probably even the number of applications, thus reducing maintenance costs and presenting users with an easier, more productive environment.
