Job Title: Senior Systems Center Consultant
Reports To: Infrastructure Services Team Lead
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Atlanta, GA with up to 50% travel

iVision is seeking a senior-level consultant with experience deploying Microsoft System Center solutions in enterprise environments. This position is 100% customer facing for project-based work – as such, candidates must possess a high degree of professionalism and exceptional interpersonal and skills in addition to technical aptitude with the products. The consultant will be responsible for leading the deployment of Microsoft System Center solutions (SCOM, SCCM, SCVMM, SCSM, etc.) at customer environments, from medium-size businesses of ~1,000 users to enterprise organizations of 10-50,000 users. The consultant will also lead workstation refresh planning efforts (e.g. Windows 7) using SCCM Operating System Deployment.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years prior IT consulting experience is required
• Ability to manage 1-2 additional consultants (i.e. schedule and task management) on simultaneous projects
• 4+ years experience working with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007 or Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 – including
   architecting and implementing complex designs (three-tier hierarchies, cross-forest, DMZ architectures, 10,000+ systems, native mode, HA configurations, etc.)
• 4+ years experience working with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2007 or Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 – including
   architecting and implementing complex designs (cross-platform monitoring, DMZ architectures, 1,000+ servers, HA configurations, etc.)
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and experience with automation of Operating System Deployment through scripts and customizations
• Consultant must possess expert-level knowledge of the products, to be validated through a technical interview
• Exceptional project management abilities (issues management, team collaboration, schedule, scope, etc.)
• Exceptional documentation skills and attention to detail for documentation (design documentation, processes/procedures, etc.)
• Ability to balance technical value with customer perception and satisfaction, and to balance value-add feature delivery with scope and schedule
• Ability to travel up to 50%, mostly Southeast U.S.
• Customer references from prior consulting engagements will be requested
